Don't Miss a Minute of the Action

We are working to make this another great Mercer County Fair with plenty of competitive events and grandstand shows.

For the second year in a row, the Eliza Lions Club Antique Tractor Drive on Saturday, July 16, will make the Mercer County Fair their lunch time stop. The tractors and drivers will arrive on the Fairgounds at 11:00 a.m. and park their tractors in front of the Grandstand for Fairgoers to view. They will eat lunch and check out a few exhibits and then be back on the road by 1:00 p.m.

Also returning for the third year, the Illini State Pullers will host our Truck and Tractor Pull on Friday, July 15. This show will feature two classes of ISP 4x4 trucks -- the 8000-lb. Pro Street and 6500-lb. Altered Stock. They will also have two classes of ISP tractors -- 6000-lb. Super Stock and 5000-lb. Naturally Aspirated. And, don't forget there will be three local classes of 4x4 stock trucks.

The ever popular Demolition Derby is back on Saturday, July 16. This annual tradition features some terrific cars and spectacular destruction. Be sure to put in on your Saturday night calendar.

As always, we have loads of 4-H, Junior and Open Class livestock shows, as well as two wristband days with C.D.A.C. Amusements for carnival entertainment.

Check out each of the schedules below starting with the Daily Schedule to make your list of things to see and do at the 2011 Mercer County Fair.
