Off Season Events

There are many different events that take place on the Mercer County Fairgrounds. One of our biggest off season events is the Bluegrass Festival Labor Day Weekend.

We also host several 4-H events including

4-H Dog Obedience Classes	Begins April 1
4-H Barbeque, Merchants' Building	June 12

Rental Information

The historic Mercer County Fairgrounds in Aledo, IL, are available for rental. If you need a grassy, tree-lined picnic area with a shelter or a hall to serve a banquet, the Fairgrounds will make an ideal spot. Wedding receptions and class reunions have been held on the Fairgrounds. It is even possible to house motor homes, boats and farm equipment during the winter months. We also have been the location for livestock auctions, livestock points shows and estate sales.
